October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and here at Dog-Eared Books we take being informed and aware very seriously. Which is why on October 17th Dog-Eared Books help to sponsor the Women of Wisdom Breast Cancer Awareness meeting at Mt. Prospect Baptist church, along side WSBTV and Wellstar Medical Center.
We gave out gift bags with goodies and important breast cancer information, as well as bottles of water, candy, and even bookmarks! The turn out was great.
This week, October 19th through the 24th, we will have a small supply of these gift bags at the store to hand out. Supplies are limited so makes sure to come by and ask for one before we run out!
